形態特徵

• Perennial succulent herbs; stems quadrangular, ascending, glabrous.
• Leaves membranaceous to herbaceous, asymmetrically elliptic to narrowly oblong or oblong, 10-25 cm long, 3-8 cm wide, base of the distal half semi-cordate with an ear-like limb, margins crenate to serrulate along the distal half above one-third, almost entire or sometimes 1-3-toothed near apex along the proximal half, apex cuspidate to acuminate-caudate, entire or rarely 1-2-toothed; petioles to 5 mm long; stipules 2, with brownish spots, lanceolate-cymbiform. Inflorescences puberulent outside, elliptic- to oblong-discoid; male ones with a 3-15 mm long peduncle; female ones sessile or subsessile; bracts slightly puberulent, connate into an unlobed, narrowly oblong to oblong involucre.
• Male flowers obovoid; sepals 4, connate halfway; pedicels sparsely puberulent. Female flowers pedicellate; bracteoles narrowly oblong; sepals 4, rudimentary; staminodes 4; ovary ellipsoid.
• Achenes ellipsoidal.

分布

• 台灣 : on Islands Lanyu and Lutao, growing along streams, ravines, and in moist forest floors.
• 世界 : Batan islands.
